I think it helped that Jimi was working out with me. Makes a difference to have company.
Rest day tomorrow YAAAAAYYYYYY ;-)

We are the greatest of friends and we love a challenge. So, at the end of last year we decided to take part in our very 1st full Marathon! We have both done half marathons before but never a full one! So we are going to take part in the Lewa Marathon in Kenya on the 26th June 2010 which has been described by many as one of the hardest - way to go Alison and Mary! So we have embarked on a 24 week training programme and here we describe our journey!
You have to forget your last marathon before you try another. Your mind can't know what's coming.
It hurts up to a point and then it doesn't get any worse.
I believe that the Good Lord gave us a finite number of heartbeats and I'm damned if I'm going to use up mine running up and down a street.
Running is a big question mark that's there each and every day. It asks you, 'Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?
We can't all be heroes because someone has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by.
